It's been a while since I've written a blog for morejewishluck.  With Russia as our topic, there's been no lack of material to entice me to the keyboard, but I'm feeling Putin fatigue.

One of my favorite organizations, the Minnesota Humanities Center, asked me to blog about Memorial Day.  The Humanities Center has focused much energy on bringing veterans and community members throughout Minnesota together to read, watch films, and discuss what it's like for both combatants and families to serve.  If there's one common thread in all that I do it's the belief that studying text together uplifts us and helps us understand ourselves, others, and the world.
